J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Forum The Boat, Sails and Equipment Replacement Batteries

I'm planning to replace my deep cycle wet-celled batteries this year on my 1981 J/30. Any recommnedations on size, brand, supplier, etc. Plan to be sailing out of Manitowoc, WI on Lake Michigan next year and will likely be doing some coastal cruising.

There's an older thread on this subject from last April. Not a lot there but it may still be of help. I agree with the comment to stick with inexpensive wet cell batteries. Mine are still going strong after nearly 4 years.
