How have folks carried the mast on the boat when it's down?

Have a little ride (257 miles on the diesel...) up the Hudson and the Erie Canal to take with #365 to get her to her new home for some TLC till she gleams again.

Am planning to knock up some sawhorses or such to hold the standing - tall enough to walk around under easily as we go through locks - but thought I'd see what's worked well for folks.

Andy I just take a few pieces of 2x10 with a notch cut to fit the mast and put a base on them ( padding underneath) in three places and tied to the pulpit for a fourth support.
