Have Hull #139 and want to move to a wind ward sheeting system. I am looking at har1635 (Harken Midrange CB Windward Sheeting Traveler Car). Anyone made this change? Advice?

Thanks,
Brett

its a great move but get the "long" car as it can handle the loads alot better

Long midrange car either 1636 with 'captive bearing' technology or the original 1576 if you already have the old style Harken track. Early hulls can use the low profile track, later models are better with the high profile.

Interesting Response from Harken. Looks like I need a new track also...any alternatives?

"So that is not a Harken track so you will need to replace the track and car and everything. That appears to be a pretty narrow trough that the track sits down in. I agree a Midrange system is what I might recommend. Track would be a R27HB.?Length. Car would be a 1635 and the end controls would be a 1631. Have a look at this gear and let me know what you think. That 1635 car is 4 1/8" wide and the R27HB track is 1 5/8 tall. Thanks"
