My regular foredeck can't race on Saturday 8 June for the RI Leukemia Cup. My backup foredeck now has to attend a memorial service, so I'm looking for someone to help on the pointy end of the boat. Rhapsody is at the Navy Marina in Newport, RI. Dock time is 10am Saturday. After the race, there is a BBQ / Party a New York YC. Details are at these links: New York YC Race Organizers PageRI Leukemia Cup WebsiteAnyone able to help me or point a foredeck person to me for this event?

Some great Irish guy danced on the pointy end of Rhapsody this weekend. He did well... resulted in 2nd place overall in class and 1st J/30 to finish! ![[Linked Image from j30.us]](http://j30.us/images/DSC_0772.JPG)

I was on a reconnaissance mission for the NAs... I'm going to publish everything I saw on WikiLeaks and retire to Hong Kong.

Congratulations Bill, Nice job. Great job on the fundraising too! Top J30 in both categories.
One question, did you try your new tactic of dropping the main halyard at the windward mark? Does that aid the helmsman in 'shooting' the mark or is it just used to set a pick?
See you in July, John

John,
No I didn't do that, but I did pass that trick on to Charlie. Falcon managed to get their spin halyard run up the mast a little early resulting in no spin set for a few hundred yards on the downwind leg.....
