no change to standard GPS feed into Radio for distress. His delivery captain must have his own tracker on board. I agree this is nice ... would be great if we could track all the boats coming into NA.

So Vic you are now down to one J/30 what's the story?

So OK ... Sail Newport just got delivery on 14 new J22s equipped with old guys in mind ... with roller furling and a small jib ... So I have this #8 locked up for Newport Yacht Club OD spin races on Tuesday nights for the summer. And get this ... ALL the boats are 100% same, same ... none of this fairing keels, $10K sail packages that last a year, etc. etc.

Typical crew limit is 600lbs compared to our 1400 ... so now I have to look for new spin crew ... duh ... Meanwhile if anyone is visiting NPT and wants to go out with me during the week ... I have an open card to do that as well.

or if you have strong light spin crew looking for J22 spin racing or mid week practice, i'm recruiting.

Total package just over 10% of what it costs to keep a j30 going.

Only 27 hours from Newport. No excuse for you guys not to visit us sometime. We'd love a class start at one of our major regattas at Raritan Yacht Club.

The AIS track was broadcast via my cell phone with an app named iAis. Ships cannot see it (unless they're online). I also have an app for marine traffic, just like what Vic posted. Very handy.
