From J/News Wednesday, February 19, 2014 (Marblehead, MA)- For many J/Sailors and friends in the New England area, we offer our "best wishes" & condolences to those who knew Paul deNapoli well. A life-long sailor from Marblehead, MA, Paul passed away in his sleep on 15 February, 2014 due to complications from Alzheimer's, at the age of 89. Full post at J/Boat News.

Paul deNapoli on #98 Allegro was second at the 23 boat 1984 J/30 North Americans hosted by Cedar Point YC, also sailed the 1983 championship there and competed at the 1985 event at Annapolis YC. My condolences to his family.

Thanks very much for posting this. I did not know Paul but it is always sad to loose someone from our extended J/30 family. Condolences from me and the J/30 Class.
