J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Forum The Smack Winter Series starts January 4th!

Great news to finish off the 2014 Winter Series:

OVERLORD (named after Operation Overlord in WW2 in honor of my great uncle) took the overall points championship over all fleets!

Lessons learned are:
Set rig tension for conditions every race,
Use the spinnaker everywhere possible on our lake course,
Balance the rig and crew for neutral helm in heavy air,
Driver needs to drive and not worry with anything else but communication.
