J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Forum Events and Scheduling 2014 Annapolis NOOD/J30 North Americans

Congratulations to Bob Rutsch And Mike Costello for the resent win in the Annapolis NOOD aboard "Bebop"! There was great breeze on Long Island Sound last weekend. Hope the Annapolis folks got the same. Wish I was there!

The 2014 North Americans are coming up the Sept. at Cedar Point Yacht Club in Westport CT. It would be great to have some of the Chesapeake J30s on the starting line. We curently have entires from the Eastern and Western Great Lakes, LIS, and Southern New England Districts. There are a few LOANER BOATS avilable if anyone is interested. See you in September!

Thanks John, started strong and stumbled home. West winds 8-10 with gusts to 15 Friday. Postponed ashore then a single shortened 2-legger Saturday in a light southerly with strong ebb from all the rain earlier in the week. Sunday breeze came up solid just before the start to 18 with gusts in the 25-30 range making for some challenging spinnaker work. Complete results here.

White Boat had a solid weekend, with Insatiable, Infectious Smile and Avita very competitive in breeze Sunday. Would very much like to return to Cedar Point with Bebop and encourage others in the fleet to do so.
