J30 Surprise at the bottom. J30 Fireball dismasted after entangling with the neighboring boat. The whole dock broke loose. Still a couple hours to go. Sad day.

Sad news on the results of Arthur. I hope everyone is able to resurrect their boats to go sailing again soon.

Surprise (#240) was hauled out yesterday. Large portion of stb. rear quarter missing. Hope its fixable.

Be sure to go over entire hull and note any hairline cracks that possibly could have happened which will lead into balsa problems. this includes the rudder.

They should be pointed out to the insurance appraiser ... Any and all hairline cracks in the hull and rudder need to be repaired ... You are looking at a new transom completely done.

Sad to see.

Sorry to hear about that. Arthur was building as it went NE of here (New Jersey). I lost a J/30 in Sandy and it was heart breaking. We get attached to the bloody things. I say fix her up and get back on the horse!
