Had an opportunity to turn some newbies onto sailing the other evening. Winds ~22 true ( highest shown was 29 apparent upwind, flattener in, #3 working nicely. Got to spend most of the evening coaching while the new guys sailed the boat. Good fun! Poor ol' Koesh had sat so long that it was indescribably good to get out & play. One more Thursday night race to go. We're tail-end-charlie, but they guys are learning and are getting stoked about catching/beating the other boats. Our big target is my friend Milo in his J-24, Bruce in his Merit 25 and Bob in the Peterson 34. Next season we'll own 'em
