Are there any keel templates out there? Ideally in the NY area, but we'll figure out how to get them from anywhere reasonable!

I have a set that I made by copying a set I borrowed. They have the right shape, but are off by a few mils here and there. They are currently at City Island which should not be too far of a drive for you.

I would love to get those templates also at some point. E-mail me at sbuzbee@yahoo.com to discuss how to make any exchange. What are they made of?

I got a set of plots from another J30 owner a couple of years ago but I can't remember his name. It was through the original forum. I still have the original plots made from the offsets (keel and rudder). I might be able to make copies and ship them out. You'd have to make your own templates from the plots but that shouldn't be too difficult.

I have the keel templates avaiable on my cad package at work. e-mail a note with a u.p.s. shipping address and I will be glad to plot off a full size set that can be transfered to foam or wood.

I am looking for a set of keel and rudder templates, and if they are not available, full size drawings would be a big help. My address is Bill Saltonstall, 109 Allens Point Road, Marion, MA 02738. I would be happy to pay printing and mailing cost. For the Keel, I've got the set that Ed Austin had made up sitting in a storage space. They are quite nice, cut out of 1/4 inch aluminum stock, done off the the drawings. They're in darkest central Westchester. Feel free to drop me an e-mail at dwl@panix.com, and we can discuss possible logistics for moving them your way. They are, needless to say, fairly awkward, being the length of the keel, and about 2/3 the thickness.
