I am looking for a discontinued part# 724070-01730
It is the 3-way pipe assembly that houses the zinc at the front of the engine
thanks

Koos - have you tried calling Oldport Marine in Newport 401.847.9109 to see if they can order it?

Bill, Dave at Old Port was the first person I called. It is a discontinued part no longer available from Yanmar. I tried many other places hoping somewhere there will be in one stock. No luck! Just one of the joys of dealing with a 36 year old engine 😀 ....off to a machine shop to refabricate

Aww crap, I think I need this part too. No matter how hard I try, I cannot get that zinc cap open. I guess I will just leave it.

all the parts are available except the pipe, so if you can get the pipe unscrewed from the engine block any good machinist will be able to remove the zinc plug and hose connectors (which you will have to cut off to allow the pipe to turn) without damaging the threads
