So a kevlar/mylar main in great shape has basically fallen into my lap for very reasonable money if I want it. The catch is that it comes from a J/100. The foot is 13' 2" and the luff is 37' 9". Should I buy the sail? Will the cut and dimensions work for the j/30?
Thanks!
Josh

it will fit for the luff but its long in the foot and its not class legal but I think you are only PHRFing the boat How big is the roach on the sail you may find it hanging up all the time
Talk with your sail maker to see what he wants to cut it down
I still have my two mains available which are both in real good shape
