Dan and I wanted to take a few moments to thank everyone who assisted the National and Local Fleets this year. We appreciate all of the hard work, collaboration and camaraderie.

Our number one priority next year will be to increase membership. We would like to hear some ideas from everyone.

Examples:
Do a better job communicating the reasons why sailors should join the class both nationally and locally. We fund the web venues including this forum, North American and regional events.

Let's hear some ideas!

The Class probably has a better membership list than any of the local fleets. It would help if the Board of Gov members/Fleet Captains could access the membership list or get an extract in Excel to assist in contacting owners who may not be aware of local fleet activities. This might also help to maintain the class directory for boats that have turned over or left the area.
