I am about to do some deck rework and wondering what the size of balsa core people are using.

Currently working on this repair of the deck under the stanchion ... MY NEW FAVORITE TOOL ... 4.5 in angle grinder with a 23 grit sanding disk ... Absolute Killer!

Dear sailors,

First of all, sorry for my bad english. I am from Chile.

In my country are only 2 J30s. One of these I am trying to buy it.

May be the most difficult job to do with it, is deck painting.

I want to ask you about how difficult is to make the job alone, with a one part polyurethane product and how long this product remain in good conditions.

Thank´s

Ignacio

Conundrum has 3/4in Balsa everywhere, Deck, Hull, Transom.
Plywood Bulkheads.
Deck to hull joint is overlapping solid glass. Core tapers in starting about 3 inches from edge. Stanchions are in that solid part on Conundrum.
