I broke the jaw on one of my aluminimum pole ends. I am having a custom carbon pole made but it won't be ready by the beginning of this season and I still want my aluminum for back up and practice.

It is one of the old alumnimum pole ends that is an odd size (possibly from Hall spars?): 68 mm inside diameter (~2 11/16"), 73mm (2 7/8) OD.

If anyone has any of these old ends laying around, or is willing to take them off an old pole, let me know.

Thanks!

Scott,

I have in my basement a used Forespar Ultra UXP-250 fitting #304050

[Linked Image]

It fits a tube with 1.87" ID. You could use this and have a piece of Delrin turned in a lathe to make a sleeve for the aluminum pole. It will need new Amsteel loops installed.

You can have it for $50 plus shipping.

ps - you can also make the sleeve with raw Delrin stock and a drill using two circle cutters. Drill the outside diameter first, then drill the inside diameter.
