Super! Primarily the base plate was effected. Hadn't considered the engine alignment. I'll make sure to include that process in the reassembly.

I think I've run into a similar situation to what was described here (see photo below). It looks likes someone did a crappy job with faring epoxy and it has separated from the hull. I guess the big question here is, how bad is this? Like a fix it right now problem or a fix it in a few months problem? (money and time are the limiting factors at the moment).

The boat yard had a new 3/4 " shaft built for me a decade ago. They didn't like the wear on the key ways. It was done at a propeller shop of unknown origin...Good luck with this caper.

I have the strut, shaft and transmission connect, plus a dripless packing unit... was to be installed in my boat. Before hurricanes
