I found a few very inexpensive 30s for sale in the Annapolis area. Thought I would post links if anyone is looking for one to join the growing 30 fleet here - getting 14 boats on Wednesday nights this season. Join and keep your new boat at EYC and sail out to the race course in minutes to race against one of the larger OD fleets in town at a fraction of the cost of many other fleets. Plus the 30 North Americans are in Annapolis in 2019.

There's cheap then there is incredibly inexpensive. That third one is Chesapeake Maiden III, hull #15 which is probably still owned by Robert Emmet. Given the few pictures and the likely impact of living on a mooring I would not expect much in terms of condition but it is floating, it has a mast, rudder, and table. At that price it could be easily parted and that would be a shame.

I am expecting to finish buying the maiden tomorrow. I plan to refit her.

Looks like it's going to be a robust event! Last I heard, we are anticipating nearly 20 boats!
