My tank under the V-birth dosen't seem to be draining at all and i have tried cleaning it out so it does. Any tips as its holding water? Also anyone know what length and size the the waste tank pipe is I need to replace mine and it will save me nipping to the boat and back.

Thanks

I'm no expert. However, I would check the air vent to start. I'm new to the my J/30 as well...but air has to go in for water to run out. That should be pretty easy to check too.

I guess I don't understand. I didn't know any tank ran into the bilge. Forgive my being green, but is the v-birth one potable water or septic waste (black water)?

Do you mean the forward bilge draining to the main bilge? If so, it was discussed in this old thread.
