J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Forum The Boat, Sails and Equipment 2QM15 Yanmar motor mounts

Can someone point me in the direction of a vendor, with email address, who sells motor mounts for a 2QM15 engine that fits in a J30?

call torrenson marine . I think they are in michigan. I have a 1979 and the mount I have heard actually was designed for a generator application that J/Boats used. Mind has round mounts. some yanmar dealers tried to sell mea a rectanular mount which would not work on my boat

I had the same conflict... my mounts are the ones for a generator too. The Yanmar dealer in Annapolis brought ou these big rectangular ones... no good. I went bac in the shop and pointed out what was under my engine... GOOD NEWS... thy wer an easy fit replacement, and were only about 35.00 and the others were a lot more. Be careful though, J30s were built with both kinds...
