J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Forum The Smack Hi! Anyone home?

Hi, just got J30. Been wanting one since I was a teen. Crewed on one back then in 80’s. Anyway, found one close, needed some core work Got it all fixed up. Gave it the Sleighride look. Finally live in a location where I can have one close to the house (10mi). Its seems like J30 enthusiasm died. Not much going on with this site. Oh well, so sad. But, still love this boat! Anyone home?

Out sailing on my J/109. Last week I spoke to the folks who bought J/30 Rhapsody from me and they're having a blast with it.

Rhapsody, I used your blog to recore a portion of the Transom. It was very helpful. Thanks for posting that way back. Probably wouldn’t have purchased this boat if I didn’t fully understand what I was getting into.
