J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Forum The Boat, Sails and Equipment Remove anchor well

In the process of recoring the starboard bulkhead. I’m going in from the forward side (see photo), but the anchor well is in the way. Is there a way to remove this? I undid all the screws, but there is no good way I see to pry it loose from the deck. Suggestions?

That bulkhead is tabbed in as it is a major structural piece and will need to be cut out.. Whatever you replace it with must be tabbed to the hull.
