Does anybody know the measurements that the Rig Rite stiffener sleeve for the boom vang should be installed to ? I have a Frac J 29 and a old sailing guide strongly suggest getting the boom sleeved. After seeing a nice bend in the boom when vang sheeting I am being proactive with not wanting to buy a new boom. Its 33" long and Rig Rite didn't offer up any instructions. I read the posting here in the forums on the tweaking it to fit but there is no mention of its location with in the boom, like install the stiffener in the middle of the boom vang attachment point.
