J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Forum One Design Class Rules Sail slugs/slides on the mainsail

I am trying to buy a new mainsail and I am being offered the option of slugs/slides.

Post #180 Forum: Main Sail Slugs. This post says that mainsail slugs are legal for OD.

I just want to confirm this, because I just converted my old cruising mainsail to slugs, and I am considering doing this with the racing mainsail.
