I wanted to start a thread as an open discussion to see who is making J/30 parts using a 3D printer. Currently, I am working on a 3D drawing to replace the aging VDO Ocean series gauge instrument plastic bezels. The specification of the gauge is 52 mm in size. Does anyone have a 3D file to print the bezel and lock below? I want to print both the bezel and locking mechanism on the gauge. ![[Linked Image]](https://j30.us/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/2844/filename/part.jpg)

Thus is an interesting thread. While I don’t have a file for you David, I can report using 3D printed parts as compass covers and as a replacement winch handle spindle. Will post images soon.

I just whipped up a 25mm ruler so you can easily measure if the boat is in compliance with Class Rule 5.7.3 "[...] the forward edge of the mast is not less than 25 mm aft of the forward vertical face of the molded step in the sole liner" ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/rpwt4mm.jpeg) Here's a link to my Google Drive with a zip file of the STL, STEP, and SOLIDWORKs files. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QwK4XwWZrOmN4DzqT27LTyVcLcAw3aVw/view?usp=sharing
