David Erwin J30.us Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 887 New Orleans, LA, USA	I wanted to let everyone know that we purchased hull #87 built in 1979 on eBay for $8,800. Whitney Kent is buying a portion of Zephyr V2.0 for $5000. As a part owner, she will skipper hull #87 at the 2026 North American Championship hosted by Eastport YC. Scottie and I will be crew this year. Whitney is a previous J/30 owner (Rafiki) who now works for US Sailing and lives in Annapolis. I am posting this message for transparency reasons. If anyone objects to Whitney driving a TBD loaner boat, please let us know. Here is the film Team Rafiki put together back in 2011. After leading NAs on day 1, they finished 5th overall.
