I know the replys to this one were non existent before but i have some more information which might jog someones memory.
Apparantly 5 monitor (built by scanmar) self steering units were built between 1985 and 1996 these units were sold to the following:
D Bir- 85
D Jepsen- 88
J Papp- 88
R Foster- 89
J Emanuel- 96
Just trying to find out if they work or will look at modifying rudder which is what other people seem to be doing as long trips with the boat are very tiring.
