Fellow J30 owners I find it dishearting that there is nothing on the front page of our Class Association about a boat that has won our National Regatta Five Years in row. Last year there was someone on the front page within a week claiming First, then lost the position due to an protest appeal. I have not won a won design race myself, but placed, but would be pretty disappointed had I won a national one design regatta, and was not recongized by our class. Blue J Neil

Actually, you can find an interesting discussion under the "Events and Scheduling" section of the forum. Also "Boat Sails and Equipment" has information about the sails used at the NAs. The main of the website has a link to the photos: http://www.thephotoboat.com/j30northamericans.htm I don't know if the pix from PhotoBoats are available to the class. Perhaps someone else has some that can be posted to the class website.

That is all nice that could search through the site, but that still doesn't explain why there is nothing on the front page for FIVE TIME IN A ROW WINNERS. Last year do you remember who was up there a week later? Neil Blue J

Neil,
I do not remember last year's web page but I completely agree with you. One of the main reasons this class exists is the continued success the J/30 has in racing. When our own Champion (5 time)is not recognized on the front page of the web site, that is pretty poor, not only for the class members, but for non-members that may visit the site.
I can only say: Whad up wit dat???

Neil,
This is my fault. We'll do a better job of writing text in the future.
We lost one of the best writers in the country Tom Donlan (Barrons Best) last year when we sold his J/30.
Anyone interested in writing for J30.org, please drop me a quick note to dave@j30.us.
Thanks, David Erwin
