I know I surf the internet too much but someone will probably appreciate this. I know layline has a "tail end" page updated with left over cordage for sale but they rarely have a good selection.
This website (hyperlink below), is updated daily and is the best I've found. If you can't find the line you want here, they don't make it. Bottom line is learn how to navigate the page and never order custom length line again. I'm completely replacing my running rigging with all spectra double braids, and I'm only spending roughly $300 with shipping. Don't pass this up!

wow - nice find Mango! Hall is a local place for me but I never knew about these discounts. I've had mast work done there.

I also support Layline because Henry Mallard is a contributing sponsor for the NAs. Hall will also be a sponsor when I do the follow up.

Everybody should help support the businesses that sponsor our class events. I lived that out tonight - had a couple of Newport Storm beers since they're providing the beer for the 2008 NAs!

Wow! And I just ordered a new spinnaker halyard locally. Oh well. Maybe I can now replace my topping lift which is hopelessly too thick.

Hard to see but i hyperlinked my reciept from halls spars. They gave me an even bigger discount then already discounted on the scrap cordage discount page. It's hard to read but for instance I only paid $.40 a foot for New England Flightline 8mm or 5/16". Thats a ridiculous bargain.

It's on my blog if the link don't work. Good luck.

Yup - I had the through bar spreader fix done. They ended up grinding out cracks where the rivets attached the spreader attachment plate, heliarc weld fill and ground smooth. Could have been a catastrophic failure. When you have your mast out, you should do this fix.

I'm stopping by Hall Spars next week to pick up Skipper Bag goodies for the NAs. I plan on seeing what they have in the surplus cordage boxes since you turned me on to that good deal.

I just bought some line there too. Thanks for the heads up!!! It beats the hell out of APS sale line.
