My Rudder has a little up and down play in it and I want to put some spacers in between the pins and gudgeon. I wanted to use some kind of plastic to make it a little more snug. Has anyone else done this? Looking for a little info.

Have the pintles resurfaced and add a turzite race to fit the gudgeon. Mine were really bad so I had new pintles with the keeper tabs fabbed.
