I didn't notice it until I sanded the blue stripe off my doghouse in prep of painting, but I had a crack in the fiberglass. It would weep water a little bit. I opened it up and noticed it was some kind of void and there wasn't any core in there. I assumed it was another of the already numerous places that the gelcoat didn't marry up to the fiberglass (raised cowling around bow hatch for example).
I filled the crack with 3M high strength filler putty and primed/painted.
I now have a new crack in the paint, in addition to having a small one on the opposite side near the chainplates. I'm wondering if some stress or flex is causing it.
Has anyone else noticed a small crack in this location? Hopefully the pic loads.
