My current stainless halyard box has bent again so all but one sheave do not turn. It definitely made for slower hoists and douses for the second half of the season. When I had taken it out about 3 years ago and replaced the sheaves I found the whole housing was slightly bent binding the sheaves. I straightened it back out, it worked great for a couple of seasons. Does anyone have a spare one they would be willing to sell?
I looked on Rig Rite's web site and they only list the new Aluminum box, not the stainless one. I have been under the impression that it is not a direct replacement. Anyone know if I can replace my stainless with an aluminum one?
Thanks,
Ed Austin
