I would greatly appreciate any suggestions on improving the angle of the stern ladder which is too vertical. Any suggestions on modifying the legs, the stern positon or other, would be greatly appreciated.

All J30s I've seen had two small steps attached to the stern originally. If you have something other than that, you have an after market swim step. Its unlikely that anyone else has the same step. Good Luck.
