Can someone shoot me the diameter and length of the spinnaker sheets? Are there different diameters based on weight of nylon?
Thanks #507

I made a set of 2 x 65 feet 5/16" NE Ropes Endura Braid a couple years ago. I liked the texture of the cover, bought online and spliced myself since APS didn't carry it-- they do now. Good for all around use, but very difficult to splice--leave it to the pros. Consider also Samson Warpspeed or Yale Maxibraid. Saw you out sailing Lobo on the Severn this past weekend-it's a shame not to be racing that boat.

Bob, thanks for the info. I will make two up. I like the Endura.
I just bought #507 in December 05 and I only sailed about 20 times prior to the purchase. Need less to say I am a novice. I've been spending the last year and a half with major work on the boat and also on learning how to sail. I guess I need to get some help on learning how to sail the J30 effectively and in racing. I also will need a new pentex main as mine is Q kevlar. That was my first solo on Saturday (I could use of a self tailing secondary--what a perfect day!
