just use silicone to attach it there is no need to put all those screws is the track I replaced mine over 10 years ago and no problem- if you need to take them off cut with a razor

Joe ... did you ever receive that J105 track and are you positive it is OK. The only 105 I have seen close up seems to have a stainless piece ... but that might be owner mod.

Re other comments: The only Aluminium track I see at Home D appears to be too narrow.

Just came back from PEARSON ... where Isa showed me the track they use for the 105 and other boats ... it is the same stuff ... Isa now knows that the the white plastic channel is the J30 replacement as well.

5 ft piece was $17 + tax picked up.

Have to admit that Pearson, the current name of the company building Js in Warren, had me confused ... especially since a couple of weeks ago I saw a brand new Pearson picnic boat that looked just as good as a Hinckley.
