J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Forum The Boat, Sails and Equipment Where to put the trash/garbage receptacle

Not the most interesting topic, but someone out there has probably come up with a clever idea on where to put the trash when they are cruising.
We usually loop one ear of a plastic grocery bag around the sink faucet and let it hang out over the end of the quarter birth. Works pretty well, but there must be a better way.

I think you describe the universal J/30 trash receptical we all use.....

However - check this link from one of the old J/30 web pages and look in the 4th paragraph under "Storage" http://www.J/Boats.com/j30/j30extcruising.htm

We put the trash in a bathroom sized trash can. We keep it under the galley sink. Line it with those white grocery shopping bags. I must agree that the faucet does make a great bag hanger.
