Does anyone have any used/surplus Barient #25 winches for sale?

Does anyone have a source for parts for these winches?

The supplier web site listed for winches on this site no longer works, so I am researching via the forum.

Also, has anyone had experience with replacement winches, either standard or self-tailing?

I was at Bacon Sails in Annapolis this weekend. They have at least one 25 on their shelf, and I think they had a small amount of springs...

West Marine sells a Lewmar parts kit for Barient winches. I'm not sure what parts you need though.

Do a product search for "Barient" on West Marine's page.

Just ordered "Stripper Rings" for my Barient 22-39 self tailers from

fast response to my email included diagram for which to correctly identify part.
shipping by air from Austrailia remains to be seen. but the rings weigh around an ounce. They seem to have all the parts ... and you just don't find stripper rings hanging around.
