I sail hull #149, Irish Navy, in Oceanside CA against a bunch of boats other than J30s. My wife has given me the nod to head out to my childhood home town of Newport, stay with family and race the heck out of the nationals if I can hitch a ride on a fast boat. The group that you have attending seems to be a great bunch of people that enjoy competition yet will not sacrifice fun in the effort to win.

I can trim, work the bow (I am 6'2" and weigh #220), steer, or just drink beer if necessary as movable ballast. I also race a Lido 14 a bit as a way to keep the dingy feel alive and kicking. If a team could use crew, I would love to come out and join the group.
