Are spinnaker socks allowed according to the class rules? It appears that you can't install an additional thru deck fitting, but is sock itself prohibited?

Spinnaker socks are not allowed under class rules. Besides to sail a J30 fast you need 6 or 7 crew so you should have plenty of hands to pull down a spinnaker.
