Sorry we missed you guys this weekend. Had a nasty Figawi hangover we needed to sleep off wink How was the racing on Sat ? Seemed pretty light in the AM but filled in nicely for the PM on the South Shore.

If all goes as planned, VIVA plans to show up for 6/27.

We had a great time. The wind was VERY fluky in the first race - there were holes all over the place. We had a nice close start with Evelyn but then she did a better job of avoiding the holes and smoked us. The second race the velocity was more steady but still quite shifty for most of the race. Then you could see a 180 degree shift about 2 miles away - Evelyn was a bit a head and Mithril was a bit behind us - Mithril sailed to the shift but Evelyn and Mallorca could not sail to it because we were caught in the convergence of the two winds. All we could do is watch Mithril come rocketing at us - same heading but reaching on the opposite tack. They road it all the way to the top mark and the three of us basically rounded together and had a fun drag race to the finish.

Definitely make it to the next one!

David
