The 2009 J30 North American Website is up and running. We are trying some a little different this year at Cedar Point. We're allowing boats to enter the event without sending the entry fee. The entry fee will be due on Sept. 17th. Please enter NOW if you planning to race. This was a suggestion from Stefan Jans and is something that BIRW and KWRW did this year to helped promote the event. The NOR and the entry from is posted now along with a list of some local Hotels. Coming soon will be an order form for regatta gear. Please call me if you are planning to trailer your J30 to the NAs to arange launching. Contact information is on the event website.

Cedar Point Yacht Club's NEW 5 ton crane will be installed next Monday August 17th. The club has ordered a spreader bar arrangement and lifting straps to lift J30s. The CPYC board has set a fee schedule for the J30 North Americans of $75. per lift or $150. in and out. This is well below any commercial rates! Please let me know if and out of town J30 plan to use the launching service.

The '09 NA website is up and six boat have already entered. Please enter early! There will be a category for Regatta Gear added to the website later this week.
