J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Marketplace Looking to Buy Something Looking to Purchase a J30 on The West Coast

We would like to find a very good or better condition J30 for sale (West Coast preferred as we are in San Francisco) but will consider other locations depending on the boat.

There are a few J/30s posted on the Boats for Sale section. This has specific boats, and a post listing Other J/30 Sailboats for Sale. Some of these have been recored in areas where there was wet balsa, so the hull integrity is good. I suggest you contact the owners and ask questions. Post some questions here too on a general nature to help your search.

You just missed out on Preparation J - a west coast boat that sold in July.

I would take $30k for mine. Blog lists a lot of work and pics. Needs a bottom job. Just throwin it out there. Oh yea, I'm wayyy west coast. Like, middle of the pacific.
