trying to make tee shirts for my crew wanted to put a J/30 line drawing on the back but the line drawings available online will not work I was told the art needs to be in a vector format. Does any one out there have art or suggestions????

Tom - I don't know of any in vector format, but I've had T-shirts made using the J/30 drawing on the web site that the T-shirt vendor digitized.

I traced the outline in AutoCad - with appologies to Rod Johnstone - it's an "approximation". There are free .dxf viewers on Autodesk site if you do not have access to AutoCad software. (I would attach it to this post - if I knew how - uploads will not accept .dxf files). This is the .pdf version.

You can zip the Autocad file and attach it without any problem.

With the zipped file ... Are there any legal issues (such as copywrite infringements) in reproducing the J30 logo ? This is clearly not intended for commercial purposes - I would not expect anyone to sell mugs,caps and T shirts based on this drawing - but there could be lawyers who are also J30 owners on this site. One can never be too carefull when among lawyers.

Note that the policy applies to the J/30 Logo, not the use of line art. Any sea lawyers out there?

Thanks for the clarification and reference Bill. That's the problem with lawyers - you can't always see them, but we know they're out there.
