Dan - my take that the time required to take them off, ship and reinstall them is close to the amount of time you'd take to service them in place. You have to pull the drums to get at the bolts that fasten them to the deck anyway. That's half the battle. Why not pay your local yard to service them in place? Probably just as cost effective.
