Very wet indeed. On Blue Meanie we had the dubious honor of playing 'Team New Zealand' Saturday at Cedar Point. Heeling over, rain pouring off the main resulted in water puddling between the cockpit seat and combing. 16 oz plastic cups make great bailers!
Got the boat home from LIS yesterday just in time for the race. 25-30 knots in rain, crew of 6, missing our bowman so our mast moved up to bow for the first time. Spin for first run with one ugly gybe, wing -and-wing with the #3 for second didn't cost us anything on second, shorter run. Pulled out a second place.
7 straight days of rain. Only 33 more to go. Can a J/30 do double duty as an ark?
