Sails for J/30s can have either a #5 or a #6 luff as both types of Tuffluffs are used on various installations. So the #5 luff tapes can fit either unit, but have been known to pull out of a #6 extrusion. The #6 luff tapes are usually too tight to go up a #5 extrusion.
