You will likely need to modify your sails. Even if you keep furling unit low it will raise your attachment point off the deck (and the horns) 6 to 9" or more. In addition you need to allow room for swivel at top which effectively lowers your hoist height. #3s usually are short on hoist and might be usable. #1's and #2's are generally not. You might think about modifying only your #2 (since it may become an optional sail for one design purposes) and keeping your #1 and #3 for racing. They might work if you can remove drum and not use furler if racing. FYI, I had a new 145 made for the furler and as my primary cruising sail.
