J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Forum The Boat, Sails and Equipment floorboards under table

Has anyone subdivided the floorboards under the table, e.g., into 3 pieces? The table's never been installed in my boat but it seems once it's in there, it would seem to be a major obstacle to removing the standard one-piece floorboard. Am I missing something?
