Although, it is not optimal it works for the 100 miles to the lake, I pull my J with 1996 dodge 1500 5.2 engine, doesn't like hills. I can travel comfortable at 60mph. The trailer is a sailor trailer, that I had modified to fit the J30. It is rated for 10,000lbs I think.
