While replacing the Teleflex motor control this week I decided to insulate the propane box ... for eventual use for iced beer as it is a self draining overboard box easily accessible from the helm [although I don't drink beer while at the helm]



I think it will easily fit an 18 pack. with ice. Will have to get something drainable as a fake bottom as salt water does come in the bottom of that drain. Probably want to lift the bottom about 4 in. maybe empty water bottles.

cost was about $3 for foam adhesive and $3 for foam. Seems like the best use for this space once the oven is removed.
